Private studio session

Regular price $600.00
Shipping calculated at checkout.

Private studio sessions offer a more personal and flexible introduction to the wax carving process.

Sessions are beginner-friendly and guided closely throughout, with space to move slowly, ask questions, and develop forms at your own pace in the studio.

Private sessions can be used to create silver rings, wedding bands, anniversary rings, friendship rings, or other personal projects.

Each piece begins as a hand-carved wax model. After the session, the waxes are cast into metal and professionally finished in the studio.

No prior experience is necessary.

Pricing

Private studio sessions are $600 for up to 4 people.

Larger groups are available by request.

After the session, final project costs are calculated based on materials, casting, and finishing. A 50% deposit is required before production begins.

Most gold wedding bands begin around $1,200 per ring.

The ancient technique of lost wax casting has been utilized for millennia to produce jewelry and other metallic artifacts. First, a mold made of sand or plaster is carefully poured over the wax model. Then, the wax is melted away, leaving a void in the mold. Finally, molten metal is poured into the mold, creating a perfect metal replica of the original wax carving.
