Disk Pendant
Description
Each small silver disk is set with a single sapphire, placed intuitively rather than as a focal point. Slight variations in surface and proportion are part of the piece and reflect the way it was made. No two are exactly alike.
The pendant hangs from an 18" sterling silver chain

Details
This collection is made using sterling silver metal clay — a material composed of microscopic silver particles suspended in an organic binder. Each piece is formed entirely by hand, then fired in the studio, where the binder burns away and the silver particles fuse into solid sterling silver. The finished metal is dense and durable, cared for in the same way as traditionally fabricated or cast sterling silver.
Working in metal clay allows for a slower, more intuitive forming process. The surfaces hold subtle variations, softened edges, and traces of touch that reflect how each piece was shaped before firing. These quiet irregularities are part of the finished work and speak to the making process itself.
We recommend removing your jewelry before swimming, bathing, or applying lotions or perfumes, and storing each piece gently when not in use. If your jewelry ever needs more care, you are always welcome to reach out — complimentary repairs are offered when possible within the first six months.
